I was watching a Studio Ghibli film the other day with my cousin and my mum was like “what’s this?” and my cousin replied, “it’s a cartoon abou…” and before she could go any further my mum shouted out “IT’S AN ANIME.”

I remember once a few years ago my dad took me with my grandfather up into the mountains to help cut up trees for firewood, most obviously an attempt to toughen me up. I sat in the car playing Cooking Mama.

Seriously this lovely old woman got on the bus today. There was mostly middle aged and older people sitting down and there were no seats left. But there was this rat-bag looking teenager and he looked right at her and continued to sit while she held on for dear life. The bus driver made him stand up for her but seriously why would you not stand up you dickhead.

I download all the episodes of Skyland and I love the plot and background+foreground animation but the fucking people are so mongulated, they move so clunkily and the dialogue is corny and the voice acting is terrible.

Today there was traffic on the harbour bridge. That made me miss my train, I was literally so close it was pulling out as I got onto the platform.
